As technological and economic advances break-down the world’s international barriers, footballer’s career paths are becoming increasingly global. Players of various nationalities are travelling to all corners of the world to ply their trade and subsequently qualifying for dual-nationality.

This was best illustrated at the 2008 European Championship where no less than 33 different countries of birth were represented amongst the tournaments 16 nations. This panel will bring together some of the biggest names in the game to discuss whether this is the future of international football or a trend that can only harm the global game.
