Objectives of the Research Unit
- Generate, gather, maintain and disseminate economic and business information and data;
- Provide guidance to GEDA on issues related to economic development;
- In collaboration with business and other stakeholders, develop a long-term economic development research strategy/framework to assist GEDA in the objective of economic development including tools for evaluating success; and
- Align research to the sector and project approach regarding specific initiatives
