This department is charged with the responsibility of spearheading GEDA’s integrated Communications system through effective implementation of the communications strategic framework and policy. It is the nerve centre and first point of call for all who want to make GEDA their partner in development

Our Service Offerings
We have four main divisions in the department that works in an integrated manner to deliver on our mandate. They are Stakeholder Management and Relations, Marketing, branding and creative advertising, Corporate and internal Communications, Public Relations and Events Management. These divisions works closely with our Investment and Trade Facilitation Department, our Projects Department, Research and Business Intelligence and our Economic Development Department in delivering brand equity, targeted and strategic advertising and promotions, events and outreach coordination, stakeholder management and liaison and cutting edge corporate and internal communications with special focus on information sharing with staff .
Our work is hinged on two main pillars, providing quality and professional communications services to Team GEDA and our stakeholders and effective utilization of events, advertising and promotions platforms and media engagement to ensure permeation of Gauteng and GEDA brand in domestic and international markets
